Once your organization has been approved for Google for Nonprofits, you can begin signing up for Google Ad Grants.
Things to Know About Google Ad Grants:
- Your daily budget needs to be set to USD 330 dollars total for ALL campaigns you run (that's equivalent to about $10,000/mo.)
- Have a maximum cost-per-click (CPC) limit of USD 2.00
- You can only run key-word targeted campaigns
- You can only run text ads
- You can only run ads on Google search pages and NOT the Google network
Creating your ads will be fun and easy since they give you guidelines as far as character counts, in addition to displaying how your finished ads will look. I'm by no means a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) guru, but there are helpful videos on how to write great ad copy, one of the best being what Google offers during your application process.
If you're a nonprofit, and struggling to get your mission heard, I hope this helped!
